Colombo is an important port in the Indian Ocean since ancient time. The traders from the middle-east used Sri Lanka as an exchange center. The Arab traders came to gather the ivory, the precious stones and spices such as cinnamon, cardamom, cloves and pepper, which were highly priced in Europe.

Colombo | Sinharaja Rain Forest
In the morning, we proceed Colombo to Sinharaja Rain forest. Sinharaja Rain Forest (a UNESCO World Heritage Site), the last viable remnant of Sri Lanka’s tropical lowland rain forest spanning an area of 18900 acres. Sinharaja is bounded by rivers on three sides. On the north, Sinharaja is bounded by the Napola Dola and Koskulana Ganga. On the south and south-west are the rivers Maha Dola and Gin Ganga. On the west are the river Kalukandawa Ela and river Kudawa Ganga. To the east of Sinharaja is an ancient footpath near Beverley Tea Estate and by the Denuwa Kanda. Sinharaja Forest reserve is also home to over 50% of Sri Lanka’s endemic species of mammals and butterflies, as well as many kinds of insects, reptiles and rare amphibians. The two main nature trails of Sinharaja Rain Forest are those lead to the peak of Moulawella and the peak of Sinhagala. Both of these nature trails begins at Kudawa Conservation Centre (KCC) are equally enjoyable and enlightening. The forest is densly crowded with tall trees growing in close proximity, but winding trails make the trekking. Small streams of crystal-clear cool water, that is home to a variety of fish, toads and crabs, crisscross the trails. And the mixed species of birds are seen in the canopy of woods.

Sinharaja | Rathnapura | Galle
After Breakfast will proceed Rathnapura. Rathnapura-City of Gems, The people of the town depends on the gem trade. Gem pits common site in the surrounding area. Most of the large-scale gem businessmen of Sri Lanka operate from Ratnapura. There are considerable numbers of foreign gem traders in the city too who have recognized the value of the gems found there. Among the foreign traders, Thai (Thailand) traders are in the majority. Every day, large number of traders from suburbs and other towns gather in the town center to sell or buy gemstones. Large-scale merchants collect gemstones from locals and sell them in the international market.

Galle | Mirissa | Yala
After Breakfast we walk in galle city. The capital of the southern province is a city with a colourful history. UNESCO declared World Heritage Site the magnificent Dutch fort is the most popular attraction of the town. 300 year old Dutch atmosphere is still very much alive around the fort and amidst its many historical buildings not invaded by the skyscrapers. The beautiful beach of Unawatuna is just 6km south east of the city center. A living, breathing city of important historical significance, Galle greets visitors as the gateway to the south. The small promontory that Galle sits upon was a natural haven, and provided safe anchor for Arab merchant vessels plying the ancient sea-lanes connecting the Orient with the Occident. However, it was a Portuguese fleet that “discovered” it by chance in 1505 and observed Arab merchants loading cinnamon and elephants onto their ships.
After Lunch we proceed to Mirissa. Is the closest point to where blue whales are inhabited, because it has appropriate environmental conditions to live these giants. Yala | Ella
After an early breakfast leaving to Yala National Park for a Safari.
Yala combines a strict nature reserve with a national park. Divided into 5 blocks, the park has a protected area of nearly 130,000 hectares of land consisting of light forests, scrubs, grasslands, tanks and lagoons. Two blocks are currently opened to the public. This is leopard country, and they are the Lords of the Jungle! With a leopard density that's higher than anywhere else on this planet, these menacing predators prowl majestically in Yala, while elephants roam in their numbers with cautious deer scampering by their side. Ella | Nuwara Eliya
After breakfast we will walk on city. Ella is blessed with some of the most beautiful views, you could find in Sri Lanka. Is one of the most scenic venues for a vacation of adventure. Ella offers a choice of sports and activities for the adventurous. From Paragliding, canoeing, hiking and trekking to bird watching, the list is very long. Some of the other activities are camping, rock climbing, fishing, mountain biking, caving and train tours. We can found main attractions places in here, Ella Gap, Nine Arch Bridge, Ravana Fall and Little Adam's Peak. After Lunch we proceed to Nuwara Eliya by Train.

Nuwara Eliya | Horton Plains | Sigiriya
Leave very early in the morning with a packed breakfast, then proceed to Horton Plains. The Horton Plains area is considered one of the richest biodiversity hotspots in Sri Lanka and was declared a National Park in 1988. It was added to the World Heritage List in 2010 along with two other mountainous nature reserves in the Central Highlands of the country.
Among the wildlife in this Plain, 24 species of mammals, 87 species of birds, nine species of reptiles and eight species of amphibians have been identified. Among the most commonly seen mammals are the Sambar Deer, wild boars, Langurs, Giant Squirrels and if you are lucky you may even see a Leopard. One of the world’s most endangered primates, the Horton Plains Slender Loris, also calls this area home.Perhaps the most popular tour destination at Horton Plains is World’s End, a sheer cliff precipice at the Southern end of the park. Another popular visitor attraction is Baker’s Fall, a magnificent 20m waterfall that is named after explorer Samuel Baker who is credited with having discovered and established the township of Nuwara Eliya. After breakfast we climb on Sigiriya Lion Rock. Sigiriya, also known as the ‘Palace and Fortress in the sky’, was built by King Kassapa (477 – 495 AD). Sigiriya is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The complex is considered one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning, The fortress is outlined with a web of gardens, tanks and structures.
A trip in a hot air balloon provides the ultimate views over Kandalama lake and the surrounding landscape.We lift off from the hotel grounds as the sun rises and drift gently across the sandstone and jungle below. After lunch proceed to Habarana. Elephant Back Safaris not only make it possible to view wildlife while riding an elephant, but also the opportunity to become part of it. After breakfast proceed to Negombo. On the way we will visit Golden Temple Dambulla. Golden Temple also known as the Dambulla cave temple, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains.There are more than 80 documented caves in the surrounding area. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life.
